saygoodbyeandgo: this. there is nothing worse than losing yourself when the one person you rely on isn’t there anymore. everyone needs time to themselves, as great as it is having someone there for you all the time, especially when you’re in a relationship, it is still good to have enough time for yourself, to think and do the things that you want to do. we can’t always rely on someone else for our happiness, we can’t always rely on someone being there for us to be stable again. sometimes the best thing about life is learning, learning how to be independent. it’s not like we can’t rely on someone else, but if we learn to rely on ourselves as well, when they’re not there anymore it won’t be so hard to deal with, even if they are just gone for a day or two. I am not saying stop relying on your best friend or stop relying on your significant other, because at the end of the day; that is what they are there for, no matter what they are going to be there for you to put a smile on your face. But I am saying learn how to be alone, learn to cope before it might be too late.
